The Galapagos is a cluster of islands that is so isolated that almost 2,000 creatures that live here are found nowhere else on earth and a Galapagos cruise is a great way of seeing some of them.
More than 150 years ago,Charles Darwin's theory of evolution was inspired by the flora and fauna to be found here. Marine iguanas,flightless cormorants and giant tortoises that now carry the Galapagos name are just three examples of these animals.
