For this reason, when you call us for the latest price on a cruise, the price could have changed the next time you call us.
Discounted cruises are often sold on what is called a ‘Guarantee' basis. This means that if you were to book a cruise based on an inside guarantee then you are guaranteed to get an inside cabin but the grade and position of the cabin is not known until nearer the cruise departure date and, in some cases, when at the cruise check-in desk.
Cruises that are sold on a ‘best available' basis again, are allocated at a later date and could be an inside or an ocean-view. Cruise rates for either of these are at a special discount and therefore the type of cabin you receive cannot be negotiated.
