MS Norwegian Crown This handsome and well built cruise
ship is spacious and has a good selection of finely decorated public rooms. Now remodelled for
freestyle cruising, this cruise ship offers an elegant and comfortable cruise experience.
Passengers on the Norwegian Crown tend to be mixed ages and American and some International. The
cabins are reasonably sized and come well equipped with good storage space. The soundproofing is
also good. Most of the higher grade cabin feature a bathtub. The Penthouse Suites provide
separated living and sleeping areas. Wheelchair access is acceptable. The Wheelchair cabins are
spacious and feature roll-in showers. However, going ashore at tender ports could be difficult.
There are no facilities for children.
MS Norwegian Dawn This cruise ship was designed for freestyle
cruising and offers dining flexibility in ten distinctive restaurants, 14 separate lounges and
bars and a wealth of activities. However the increased venues result in extra charges and reduced
deck space. Passengers on the Norwegian Dawn tend to be mixed ages and American and some
International. The Indoor roman spa has treatment rooms, sauna, yoga, aerobics and fitness
programmes. In addition the sports onboard include a jogging track, volleyball, golf, basketball
and table tennis There are two full size pools. Wheelchair access is acceptable. There are good
children's facilities in a separate area to the adults including a childcare centre, teens video
zone and a dedicated pool with pirate ship, caves and whirlpool tubs.
MS Norwegian Dream This cruise ship was stretched in 1998 and
now offers Freestyle Cruising with dining flexibility. Public rooms are quietly decorated and are
more intimate than most. It tends to attract younger and more active passengers and deck space is
restricted and noisy. Passengers on the Norwegian Dream tend to be mixed ages and American and
some International. There are two main dining rooms, Four Seasons and The Terrace. The food is
reasonable as is the service. Alternative dining is offered in the Italian Trattoria, The Bistro,
Sports Bar and poolside pizzeria. Wheelchair access is acceptable. There are extensive, organised
activities for all ages of children (2-17) throughout the day with dedicated staff. This year the
cruise ship provides face painting, treasure hunts, video games, volleyball and discos.
MS Norwegian Jewel This cruise ship was designed for freestyle
cruising and has ten distinctive restaurants, 14 separate lounges and bars and a wealth of
activities. It also features 10 courtyard villas. However the increased venues result in reduced
deck space. Passengers on the Norwegian Jewel tend to be mixed ages and American and some
International. The standard cabins on the Norwegian Jewel are small but have adequate storage
space and come well equipped. Cabins with balconies offer a bit more room. Bathrooms are compact
but well designed.Tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. The Indoor roman spa has
treatment rooms, sauna, yoga, aerobics and fitness programmes.In addition the sports onboard
include a jogging track, volleyball, golf, basketball and table tennis There are two full size
pools.The Norwegian Jewel offers freestyle dining in two main restaurants and Pacific Rim,
Japanese and French formal alternatives. Informal dining is available in the Garden Caf food
court, Indoor/Outdoor Buffet, Tapas Bar, Trattoria, Hawaiian restaurant and the Grill area
poolside.Dresscode on thr Norwegian Jewel is casual and comfortable during the day. In the
evening dress is smart casual (shirt and trousers for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies).
Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies. The
rating of the Norwegian Jewel for children is Very Good. There are good children's facilities in
a separate area to the adults including a childcare centre, teens video zone and a dedicated
pool.

stretched in 1999 and now offers Freestyle Cruising with dining flexibility. Interiors are
spacious and tastefully decorated but some areas can become crowded. Passengers on the Norwegian
Majesty tend to be mixed ages and American and some International. The cabins are small and
comfortable with limited storage. The bathrooms are compact but with good sized shower
enclosures. The suites are not large but are well equipped with VCR , TV, sitting area, fridge,
bath and shower. Wheelchair access is unsuitable. There are extensive, organised activities for

MS Norwegian Sea This well designed cruise ship is comfortable
and provides many public rooms with a light airy feel. A good selection for those seeking an
attractive fun cruise. Passengers on the Norwegian Sea tend to be mixed ages and American and
some International. Both Seven Seas and Four Seasons dining rooms are comfortable. The food is
hot & spicy cuisine and the service reasonable. Alternative dining is offered in The Bistro
(cover charge) and the Big Apple Caf for breakfast and luncheon buffets. Wheelchair access is
unsuitable. There are extensive, organised activities for all ages of children (2-17) throughout

and a six deck high atrium. It features a mixture of western and oriental dcor and offers a wide
range of facilities and dining options - at extra cost. Passengers on the Norwegian Spirit tend
to be mixed ages and American and some International. Standard cabins on the Spirit are small
although well equipped with safe, and have limited storage space. 60% of cabins have outside
views. Showers are reasonably sized. Suites have a wet bar, fridge, sofa, drinks table and queen
size bed. There are many sports on offer on the Spirit including a jogging track, golf driving
range, basketball & tennis courts, separate male & female health spa, nero fitness centre
and on deck Thai massage. The Windows on the World dining room is on two levels with large
windows. Buffets are provided in the Raffles Caf and Chinese Cuisine in the Garden Room. A la
carte (chargeable) restaurants are Taipan (Chinese), Shogun (Japanese) and Maxim (French). There
is a wrap around promenade deck on the Norwegian Spirit and four levels of decks suitable for
sunbathing. The two level Moulin Rouge Show Lounge has good sight lines, a revolving stage and
lavish entertainment. There is an observation lounge which doubles as a nightclub.Dress code on
the Norwegian Spirit is casual and comfortable during the day. In the evening dress is smart

Standard Cabins are small but have adequate storage space and come well equipped. Cabins with

have adequate storage space and come well equipped. Outside cabins offer a bit more room. The
bathrooms are compact but well designed. The main pool area features a large double pool but
there is also a separate pool at the stern. The Spa offers a full range of facilities and
treatments. High on deck 14 is the sports court.The Pride of America cruise ship offers Freestyle
dining in two main restaurants - the Skyline and Liberty, and a Steakhouse, French, Japanese and
Italian formal alternatives - most involving extra charges. Informal dining is available in the
Aloha Caf and the Cadillac Diner. Production shows are presented in the two level Hollywood
Theatre while cabaret and comedy can be found in the Mardi Gras Cabaret Room.Dress code on the
