Braemar was lengthened and refitted in 2008 giving a feeling of spaciousness and is well suited to couple and singles looking for a relaxing cruise with many interesting itineraries.
Cabins
Cabins on Braemar are nicely furnished and all come equipped with TV and are air-conditioned.
Bathrooms are quite small and all have a shower.

The main entertainment is held in the Neptune Lounge where a number of Cabaret & variety acts perform nightly. Other venues are:

Highlights
As Braemar is much smaller than many of todays huge vessels itineraries often include visits to interesting and unusual destinations.
Dining
The main dining room is the Thistle Restaurant which has seating for 380 and has seaviews on three sides.Menus are varied and offer something for everyone.
The other main restaurant on board Braemar is the Grampian Restaurant which can be found aft on the Marquee Deck 8.
Palms Cafe,on Lido deck 6, is perfect for those preferring to eat in less formal surroundings and at a time to suit them. Food is buffet style but is still to the same standards as in the fixed dining restaurants.
Tipping
Gratuities are discretionary although up to £4.00 per passenger per day is a recommended amount for cabin steward and waiter (£2 each)
Dress Code
Dress is casual during the day and smart casual during the evenings except on formal evenings where men usually wear either a suit or dinner jacket and the ladies their cocktail dresses.
