Cabins
All cabins are of an acceptable size with good storage space.All have their own private bathroom which come with a bathtub in higher grades.
Entertainment
Entertainment Cabaret style is at the Neptune show lounge. For those preferring something a little more relaxed and quieter there are the Observatory and Lido Lounges plus a pub called the Morning Light although music and dancing does take place at certain times at these venues.
Highlights
Balmoral was fully refurbished in 2008 and offers a fine choice of public rooms.
Dining
Good food and service is offered in the Ballindalloch restaurant over 2 seperate sittings.There is also alternative dining available in the Spey and Avon restaurants. Informal dining can be found in the Palms Cafe where food is buffet style.
Tipping
Tipping is expected and one should allow up to £4 per day.
Dress Code
Casual during the day and from smart casual to jacket and tie during the evenings. Formal evenings require the usual dinner jacket (or lounge suit)for men and party frock for the ladies!
Recreation
There is an arts & crafts room, card room, internet cafe and library on board.
Fitness
To the rear of the ship on the Marquee deck is the outdoor pool. The Atlantis spa offers superb treatments, ranging from Hot Stone Therapy to Acupuncture and, with beautiful views over the seas, it is so peaceful! A hairdressers is also closeby.The well-equipped gym offers yoga, pilates and fitness classes.
