MV Hebridean Princess
The MV Hebridean Princess is a little gem of a ship that offers a stately home experience with wonderful scenery.The two public rooms are comfortably furnished in country house style. Passengers on the Hebridean Princess tend to be discerning, wealthy, 50+ and mostly British. Individually designed and decorated cabins vary in size from reasonable to good and are well equipped with draped curtains over beds. All but two have a private bath or shower room. There are bicycles for inland excursions, speed boat, fishing gear, rowing boat and mini gym. The Hebridean Princess carries a Zodiac for coastal trips and wildlife watching with all the outdoor clothing necessary for cold and wet weather exploration. The delightful Columba Restaurant has ocean view windows and features outstanding fresh, locally sourced cuisine and service. The breakfasts are informal and on two nights there is a formal gala evening. There are small partially covered promenade deck areas and adequate open deck space but the Hebridean Princess has no pool. The principal lounge is the Tiree with an inglenook fireplace and homely bar, wooden clad library, conservatory and the look out lounge with panoramic views. Casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual (shirt & slacks) to informal (jacket and tie for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies. The rating for children is Unsuitable. There are no special arrangements for children. Those under nine years are not accepted.
MV Hebridean Spirit
This MV Hebridean Spirit is a small luxury ship that has been refitted in the country house style and offers a very personal luxury yacht experience with varied and interesting itineraries. Passengers on the Hebridean Spirit tend to be discerning, wealthy, 50+ and mostly British.The Hebridean Spirit has individually designed and decorated cabins which are all spacious and very well equipped with DVD player, mini bar, fridge, safe and marble clad bathrooms with teak floor. Twenty six cabins have a private bath and the rest showers. Although facilities are limited, there is a stern swim/boat platform. There are bicycles for inland excursions, speed boat, fishing gear, rowing boat, mini gym & treatment rooms. The Argylle Restaurant is free seating, has ocean views and features outstanding cuisine and service. Informal breakfast and lunch dining is also available at the Brasserie outdoors on the Mizzen deck. There are two teak outdoor promenade decks and adequate sunbathing space with observation deck. Entertainment is provided in the Skye Lounge with cocktail parties and is informal or locally provided.Internet access is available in the Panorama Lounge.Dress code on the Hebridean Spirit is casual and comfortable during the day.
