Chidren's Facilities Due to the nature of Viking river cruise itineraries, Viking River Cruises does not maintain facilities or services for children aboard river cruise vessels. On all cruises and cruise journeys, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and share a cabin with a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21. Children undert the age of 12 are not allowed on any Viking cruise vessel.
Dress Code Casual clothing is recommended during the day whereas the evenings tend to be a time for more elegant clothing to be worn although formal wear is not expected and open neck shirts are welcomed.
Passenger Profile As a general guide, passengers on Viking cruise vessels tend to be 40+ European/American.
